Campus Report - St Johns

A positive end to the term and many things to celebrate. Firstly, I would like to acknowledge and thank the St J staff who have supported and led our students in such a busy and challenging term.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a new section to my newsletter contribution called St John’s Shout Outs! Here are a few things that I have noticed and would like to acknowledge:

• Our Spirit Award winners: Noah Tankey, Kendrick Tran and Daniel Tang
• Ms. McConnel for leading the SJs Homework Club, great to see so many students taking up this opportunity.
• Dengalich Deng, Elias Lokodu, Dut Mabok and several Sacred Heart students who represented the College impeccably at the African Australian student conference at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
• The grit and determination showed by our Yr.9 Premier League Teams. Basketball Champions! Volleyball finalists and looking forward to the AFL Grand final next term.
• Our rocking musicians Brian, Tharul, William and Alex who participated in the Dream Big Youth Music Festival, composing their own original song.
