Celebrating Mr. Robert Brennan

25th Oct 1963 - 9th March 2024

Since January 2021, Robert (Rob) Brennan was our College Principal. Caroline Chisholm Catholic College played a major role in Rob’s life, having attended here as a student himself. He had a strong belief that we as a community have the privilege and responsibility to provide a quality education as this is the key to changing kids’ lives for the better. This is why he was determined to lift the standards of the College as the Principal, so students had an education they deserved.

His vision is evident throughout the past three years, as we have seen improvements in our student's learning, as well as their wellbeing. This is the work that we will all continue to a high standard so we can bring to life Rob’s vision for our student’s future.

His passing has been felt by so many in not just our community, but all communities that Rob has been involved in. We continue to keep Rob and his family in our thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time.

We celebrated Rob's life together at our College on the 15th March 2024 with a funeral mass where he was surrounded by family, friends and community members that were all dear to him. We thank our wonderful students who also came to pay their respects to Mr. Brennan, and forming the guard of honor. He would have been proud of each and everyone of you. 

We will miss you everyday Rob, and promise to carry on the work you set out. 

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,

and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May Rob’s souls, now among the faithful departed,

through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
