Our Faith Filled Community

OVERVIEW
Faith is at the heart of our school.

We live faith-filled lives and give thanks daily through prayer, regular liturgies, and days of reflection and social justice action.

Our goal as a Catholic educative community is to participate fully in God's mission of saving love and we achieve this by proclaiming the life and works of Jesus Christ and those who followed him, including Caroline Chisholm. This active faith informs our community’s involvement in bringing about the Kingdom of God. Every year our college draws upon the wisdom of sacred scripture and saints in the form of a faith-inspired theme. In 2023 our theme is "From the smallest of seeds grows the greatest of trees" drawn from Matthew 13:31-32. As with themes of previous years, this message provides a holistic message of growth and love for a Catholic educative community.

We have many students attend our College from different faiths and we focus on being a respectful and inclusive community.

We endeavour to live out the philosophy of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in every aspect of school life. This is so that all students may experience the college community as an education of the heart in a safe, homely environment. A well-ordered, structured and nurturing environment is essential to teach and to experience love of God, love of neighbour and love of learning. Our students receive religious education both inside and outside the classroom.
