A Prayer for the New Year

Dear Lord Jesus,

As we begin this new school year, we come before You with hearts full of hope and anticipation.
We ask that You set us ablaze with the fire of Your love, so that we may grow in faith, wisdom, and understanding.
Ignite in each of us a passion to live out Your teachings, to share Your love with others, and to seek Your presence in all that we do.

Lord, fill our College with Your Spirit.
May our classrooms and hallways be filled with compassion, kindness, and respect.
Help us to recognise You in the faces of our peers, our teachers, and all who cross our paths. 
May we be a community united in Your love, where each person is valued and supported.

Grant us the courage to stand firm in our faith, to reach out to those in need, and to always seek Your will in our lives.
We pray for Your guidance as we navigate the challenges and joys of this year, knowing that with You by our side, we can do all things.

We offer this prayer in Your holy name.
