And that’s a wrap for the Sacred Heart Campus for 2023. The year has ended on a high for the senior students at Sacred Heart, with celebrations of academic achievement and commitment to the college community.
The Year 12’s finished with their celebration day, graduation assembly, mass and ceremony and then ending their 13 years of official schooling with the Valedictory dinner. These events were ones of celebration and emotion for the year 12 students and their families. It was a time to celebrate memories and achievements of the last 13 years and then to refocus and prepare for exams. Then as each student finished their exams, it was time for them to venture into the many journeys that await them, as they leave secondary education and enter into the world and all it has to offer.
We wish them all the best on the next part of their journeys.
The Year 10 and 11 students also had their end of year exams during Term 4. They were able to focus on study skills and exam revision in preparation. The exams ran smoothly and the results would indicate that students took this opportunity seriously and prepared accordingly. Well done to all the Year 10 and 11 students. They can now take away the revision skills and practices they have developed and that have enabled them to achieve success and continue that success into 2024.
The dedicated way that the Year 10’s and 11’s prepared for exams flowed through to the transition program. These students were focused and ready to go from day 1. It was so exciting to see the students in classes; prepared, working contentiously, asking questions and ensuring they knew the holiday homework that needs to be completed to begin 2024. They are all setting themselves us to ensure their next years at Caroline Chisolm Catholic College and full of commitment, success and enjoyment.
On behalf of the Sacred Heart team I would like to wish all our families a joyous Christmas and a happy and safe holiday period.
